Will Race, Income inequalities trip up Cascadia’s Fight against climate change.

(March 2021)

This investigation explores the lasting impacts of wildfires in South Seattle and Southern Oregon. It analyzes how income inequalities revealed inequities in wildfire preparedness. The investigation also amplifies the grassroots advocacy groups working to help ensure that people in marginalized communities have the resources to deal with the effects of climate change and that they have access to clean energy.
